poll(D2osdi)
poll --
poll a device
Synopsis
See
poll(D2oddi)
for synopsis, arguments, return values,
and context.
Usage
The
poll(D2osdi)
entry point routine can be used
to synchronize the driver with the hardware.
Alternatively,
this functionality can be coded
into the host adapater driver's
intr(D2osdi)
routine.
The
poll( )
routine is called for every clock tick.
If a
scsi_io_req(D4osdi)
command block has been passed to the
_entry(D2osdi)
routine,
poll( )
calls the
intr(D2osdi)
routine on the next clock tick.
Version applicability
osdi:
