getclk(M)


getclk -- get string from real-time clock

Syntax

/etc/getclk [-t]

Description

getclk gets a string suitable for the date -t command from the real-time clock and writes it to stdout.

-t
calls date(C) with the -t flag (which includes the century).

Exit values

getclk returns 0 if successful; 1 if an error occurs.
