Working with SCO Panner

Nailing windows

By default, the panner and the icon box, if enabled, stay in the same place on the screen when you change the area of the workspace that you are viewing. These windows are said to be ``nailed to the screen'' -- in effect they travel around with you.

You can nail other windows as well and these will also remain in the same place as you move the view area across the workspace. The viewfinder also appears to carry their symbolic windows as you move it over the map.

You might want to nail applications that are useful wherever you are in the workspace.

To nail or unnail a window, select Toggle Nail from the window's Window menu.

NOTE: You cannot unnail the panner and icon box.
