Creating files with Edit

Using the toolbar

The toolbar, just below the menu bar, provides quick access to these commonly used menu items (listed from left to right):

Open button: opens an existing file.
Save button: saves a file.
Include button: includes one file in another file.
Find button: searches for a particular section of text.
Print button: prints a file.

If a button is dimmed (stippled), it means you cannot use the corresponding command at this time. For example, if you do not have a file open, you cannot use the command represented by the Find button.
