Using floppy disk drives
In addition to using floppy disks to store ``loose'' files, you can
also use them to back up an entire system; this may, however,
require the availability of many disks. In either case, a floppy
disk must be formatted before it can be used.
NOTE:
LS-120 drives are also supported.
Although an LS-120 drive is connected to an IDE
bus instead of the floppy controller, it is automatically configured by
the system as a floppy drive. The LS-120 uses conventional
3.5-inch standard (720KB) or high density (1.44MB)
disks, or a 120MB SuperDisk.
