Invocation from system startup
When the
mountall(ADM)
script runs to mount filesystems, an
fsck
with the
-m
option is run on each filesystem found in
/etc/default/filesys.
This process is called ``sanity checking.''
For all filesystems that are reported as
requiring a filesystem check,
mountall
runs an
fsck
with the
-y
option before attempting to mount the filesystem.
