Recommended test procedure

The recommended test procedure for AIX 5L NFB drivers is:

1. Set up the test machine

2. Verify that the X server by itself displays a root background properly.

3. Verify that the X server exits cleanly, returning console to text mode.

4. Verify that simple clients display properly.

5. Verify that interactive clients display and operate properly with user input.

6. Verify that the X server can successfully run the xbench suite.

7. Verify that the X server can successfully run the x11perf suite.

8. Run the color3 test to verify that the X server displays proper color maps.

9. Run the text2 test to verify that the X server displays all fonts.

10. Verify that the X server works properly with the desktop.

11. Check all modes specified in the <xxx>_GRAFINFO.add file.

12. Check all video devices operated by the driver.
