The facilities of class Duration are divided into nine categories for ease of presentation: (1) constants; (2) constructors; (3) functions for expressing Durations in natural units; (4) component extractors; (5) relational operators; (6) fixed-point arithmetic operators; (7) approximate arithmetic operators; (8) conversion to and from Strings; (9) stream insertion.
