Overview of the auditing subsystem

Overview of tunable parameters for auditing

In addition there are tunable parameters that control the amount of memory allocated in the operating system's kernel for auditing:

ADT_BSIZE
This parameter controls the size, in bytes, of an audit buffer.

ADT_LWP_BSIZE
This parameter controls the size of the buffer allocated for each lightweight process (LWP).

ADT_NBUF
This parameter controls the number of audit buffers available on the system.

ADT_NLVLS
This parameter is unused in this release.
These are defined in the /etc/conf/mtune.d/audit file.
