vxserial - Volume Manager licensing key utility

Synopsis

vxserial [ -cpt ]

The Volume Manager licensing key utility, vxserial, is responsible for maintaining the Volume Manager license key file.

-c: Creates a license key file. Vxserial will prompt for a license key. This option should be used in most cases.
-p: Print available Volume Manager licenses in a system.
-t feature: Test a Volume Manager license in a system.

The following is an example of how to use vxserial to initialize the Volume Manager licensing key file:

	vxserial -c

Here the vxserial command will prompt for a license key and create the license key file once the key is entered.
