mconnect(ADMN)

mconnect -- connect to SMTP mail server socket (obsolete)

Syntax

mconnect [ -r ] [ -p port ] [ host ]

Description

In previous releases, mconnect opened a connection to the mail server on a given host, so that it could be tested independently of all other mail software. This command is no longer supported. It's functionality is provided by the debugging options of sendmail(ADMN).
