Description
The
call_demon( )
function
invokes the current kernel debugger,
if present.
Upon exit from the kernel debugger,
call_demon( )
returns to its caller.
If no kernel debugger is currently configured,
call_demon( )
returns immediately.

Usage
call_demon( )
is used for testing and debugging purposes
and should usually be called conditionally,
based on a tunable variable or flag
that is set with the kernel debugger
and defaults to ``off''.
