This section describes functions that may be found
in various libraries.
The library functions are those other than the
functions which directly invoke socket
system primitives, described in section SSC-osr5.
All of these functions are accessible from the socket library,
libsocket.
The link editor
ld(CP)
and the C compiler
cc(CP)
search this library when the -lsocket option is given.
The socket library also includes all the functions
described in section SSC-osr5.
