_unload(D2pccard)

_unload -- initialize a loadable kernel module

Syntax

See _unload(D2) for syntax and general usage information about this entry point routine.

All loadable DDI 7 and DDI 8 PC Card client-enabled drivers should do the following in their _unload( ) routines:

Call the ReleaseConfiguration(D3pccard) service. For a 16-bit card, this returns the card to a simple memory-only interface and configuration 0; for a 32-bit CardBus card, I/O access is disabled.
Call the ReleaseDMA(D3pccard), ReleaseIO(D3pccard), and/or ReleaseIRQ(D3pccard) service to free system resources.
Call the DeregisterClient(D3pccard) function to deregister the driver.
If no other clien-enabled device driver expresses interest in the slot, CardServices( ) shuts down the slot's power.
