Saving messages in mail folders

Copy a selected message from your mailbox to a mail folder by selecting Save To Folder from the Message menu. Select the mail folder by clicking on a folder name under ``Files'', or by clicking in the ``Selection'' field and editing the entry there.

Alternatively, you can save messages quickly in the hot folder.

Each message that you copy to the mail folder also remains in your mailbox message list with the Saved in folder symbol displayed next to it. You can choose to delete automatically any messages saved to a mail folder.

NOTE: Although you can save single- or multipart messages in mail folders, you can save individual attachments only in files. The exception is if the attachment was itself originally a complete message. See ``Saving attachments''.
